16th Brthday

I have been blogging so much  IN MY HEAD lately, and I thought maybe I should just pen (type) it down already!!!!

It has been a very busy month for me. For one..I had my 16th birthday :P' 

I got two different cakes, as I celebrated with my parents (after ages) and back at home too.

I remember how much my original  blog meant to me, and I had to restart due to some privacy issues.
I'm trying to get that 'feel'back-cos God knows I used to keep going on and on.

I have gained a few kilos--but this time I plan to keep them off forever.
I lose the same weight year after year & it has exhausted me to be honest!

I'm trying to be REALLY positive ├žos if I don't I may just feel comfortable with piling on and making truce with it.

hi friends-- its been a long time since I blogged--about two months ? But, I have been blogging in my mind (if that makes any sense?)
So, how have you all been? It's been OK so far and for one I really want this year to be MY YEAR.

The year where I achieve  things I have been yearning for. If that means going out less, having just one piece of cake on my birthday, having no cheat days, kicking a$$ SO BE IT!!!!!!!

Currently April 2016

The post I did on Monday, and the one I'm doing today-- is inspired from Khushboo.

Current Book : Sadly, I have not read a book in a long time. I think the last I read were the Twilight Series (*gulp*)

Current Music: Purple Rain by Prince!!!

Current Excitement : None to be honest, but let's just say I'm at a happy place and that is pretty exciting :)

Current Drink: WATER,  YESSS, three days down and hopefully this is the end of soda for me!

Current TV Show : I started to watch- ' Fear the Waling Dead', a prequel to the hit series The Walking Dead, its  sort of interesting to watch how it all began!

Current Guilty Pleasure: Lindors..I had so many that now I should detox soon.

Current Blessing: I'm in a good place , and  thats the best blessing.

Current Mood : Well, I'm positive that, I will nail my weight loss this year, despite the hiccups!

Travelling and Weight Update

Happy Hump Day friends. 
How have you all been?

I have not been blogging as much- I got busy with final exams of my kids and then I was just blogging in my mind. ;)

The last weekend of March is here, in India it starts tomorrow due  to the much celebrated festival Holi.

And, my husband decided to surprise me and take me on a much needed small getaway.

Weight-loss Update

I have not been working out, as I pulled a muscle in my arm and my foot was also swollen. I worked out 'despite' and ended up injuring my arm. So, I just had to step away :(

My weight is 64.9 kilos(143.08pounds)  I'm not sure when did I last weigh in here :(

So, any tips for me to not come back higher by ten pounds?
Something I feel really maks a diffrence is drinking water-- It helps me feel so full, and minus the fact that I need to visit the restroom frequently it does help to lose weight.

starting afresh

I know I say this a lot of month new goals blah blah.
But, I think I'm over my 'feeling sad'and going to do this now :)

1. I have been a religious reader of Katies Blog, and she just started a FB group for accountability. (link)

Goals for February were - 
workout 5 to 6 times  (did not happen)

stay on track (Yes except two weeks back)
reduce the intake of diet coke not even remotely close
not lose my cool (with kids) will give myself a pat, I did pretty ok :)

I do feel like a failure but maybe I'm not? I came across some old pics and they were an eye-opener and made me feel that I have probably not reached my destination yet, but I have come a LONG way.


 The first comparison pic  is  from 2013. Left pic is SAME WEIGHT as TODAY but two months apart.

This is from November last year, Ironically, I'm almost the same weight as the above snaps, hardly 5 pounds here and there
