Saturday Weigh-in #4

Hi guys, I''m sorry this post is late, but I was not feeling upto the mark. I have a toothache and also been a bit unwell!


My weight today is 65.3 kilograms. I’m down by 100 grams from last week

Last weeks weight    -      65.4 kilos 

So, I'm just down by 100 grams from last week. But, well  I would be very upset if it was 100 grams more, so I chose to treat loss as a loss ;)


What are you plans for the week? I'm not feeling too well and I just want to get better!!!

Execuses

This week has been a little s.l.o.w, work-out wise! I did some floor on Monday, then Tuesday I was all ready and started teaching my kids for their exam--before I knew it --it was super late. 
I did not feel like planks or push-ups! 
And, now I'm just being lazy!
Creature of habit?  Well, if that's the case, then I need to get out of this rut and get the arms curling ASAP!
Well, on the brighter side, I have joined a challenge on Spark People and looking forward to give my 100% to it.








And, on the funnier note, if you have enjoyed Friends, you are so going to love this video.

have loved all the episodes, and all characters are great, but I do have a girl crush on Rachel (Jeniffer Aniston)

I know I can’t lose a kilo every week, and with time the loss will slow down. But, as long as the tend is downwards I will embrace it 😊
What plans do you have for the weekend? I’m on a cleaning spree, making room for new things, storing some old important ones and getting rid of the useless ones 😉

No Excuses!

Hey folks, how have you been?
This week was busy as we celebrated Eid
Which meant, that kids were home for last three days!

Well, I continued to *grind* and  instead of focusing on longer workouts, I did quick shorter ones! (Better than skipping them)

I have been experimenting, with bolgilates & her workouts are NO joke!!!  But, my favorite is by all means Joanna Soh for YouTube workouts!

I generally use the Nike App, for my runs most of the times.
(Except, when I dont want to hold the mobile in my hand. I desperately need a Fitbit)

My workout was like this-

Monday- 40 minutes on treadmill (3 Km) + abs, arms

Tuesday- 30 minutes treadmill (2Km)

Wednesday - Arms, abs, thighs (total time 20-25 mins)

Thursday -  30 minutes treadmill (2.5 km) +abs ( I was super tired!)

Friday- I might take a rest day tomorrow, as I'm pretty sore!

YOu all know I love to go on vacations, MORE than that I love Vacay-talk! And, this article proves, that I'm no crazy woman!

Saturday Weigh-In #2

Hi friends!
So I finally finally  saw a loss this week!
It's a Loss!!!
(Weight lost -1.6 kilos from last week)
My weight today       -       65.9 kilos
Last weeks weight    -      67.5 kilos 

I will not sugarcoat, I stayed away from all sugar and worked really hard. Even when I couldn't find time to do long cardio sessions I did high impact short workouts from YouTube.
Let's hope the ball keeps rolling, in the right direction 😉.
What did your week look like? I had a busy week. My kids midterms start this Monday and I'm not very keen on exams, in general lol.

Killer Arms?

Hi friends, 
It was great to read your opinion regarding blogger or WP, and I must say that there is a reason I have not already migrated to blogger ;)
I fell ill, on Saturday & my workout took a backseat for Sunday and Monday! 
But, I'm happy to say that I kept my eating on check, despite craving muffins and chocolate shakes like crazy!
Cos, you know what they say, abs are made in the kitchen!



I did a 5 K today, and did one last week, so that makes it 10K, for this month already :) 
Thirty kilometers more & I'm done for the month!


For Strength Training I  did tried a  four minute arms  workout. Don't be fooled--it looks easy but it will put your arms on fire!


I was sweating like crazy by the end of four minutes, but I'm looking forward to do this again!!!



How has your week been so far??  I did start watching a new t.v series called Guilt and it makes the treadmill even more fun :)

blogger or wordpress?

I started blogging back in 2012, on blogger and continued for two years! Then, back in 2014 I wanted a new start and started blogging on WordPress.
AgreeD, it takes a little time to get used to it, but it was super good!!! 

I was pretty happy, but then blogging took a backseat.
Then, after 6 months I started this current blog. (I know my third one!!!)
Anyways, I recently got an iPhone and it does not have any blogger app. I usually blog from my cell phone & decided that I may need to switch to word press. 

For now I have downloaded the word-press app and, I'm composing my posts there, and then pasting them here when I log on.

Once, I understand W-P a little better I might even start posting just there. ?But, blogger is my first love!

However, I'm not super tech savvy, and cannot possibly transfer all the data from here!!! 



Pros and cons



  • Blogger is super easy, a fourth grader could make an account and blog away. With WP, he will might need some adult assistance.
  • When you hit reply, on WP, it shows on your post as well, as it reaches the inbox of the person who posted the comment.
  • This, is a great feature.
  • Just a handful of themes are free, and its costlier to get a face lift for your blog.
  • Blogger is easy, you google and you can edit. WP is fancy. I think I'm not dumb, but WP appeals me, yet intimidates me.
  • You CANNOT copy paste, in wordpress. Well, I couldnt, copy a post from here and paste there!
